The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dynamic Personal Assistant to support the founder in managing the day-to-day operations of Youth Business Academy. This is a unique volunteer role where you’ll gain hands-on experience in running a nonprofit organization and learn the ins and outs of business strategy, content creation, and program management.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support: Assist with scheduling, emails, and organization of meetings.
  • Content Creation: Edit videos, design presentations, and contribute to social media content.
  • Program Support: Help plan and coordinate virtual and in-person events and workshops.
  • Research: Gather insights on fundraising opportunities, grant applications, and nonprofit strategies.
  • Marketing Assistance: Collaborate on marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a multi-skilled, motivated individual who:

  • Is proficient in video editing software.
  • Has strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Is tech-savvy and comfortable using tools like Google Workspace, Canva, and social media platforms.
  • Has excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Is adaptable and eager to learn about nonprofit management and entrepreneurship.
