By working closely with the Communications Manager, this position will focus on creating visually appealing and cohesive designs for both print and digital media. This includes developing graphics for social media, promotional materials, and educational resources. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of design principles, proficiency in design software, and a interest in mindfulness and meditation advocacy.
Responsibilities:- Create and design graphics and layouts for social media, promotional, and educational materials
- Collaborate with the Communications Manager to develop cohesive and brand-consistent visual content
- Stay updated on current design trends and tools to enhance the quality of work
- Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms
- Understanding of design principles and ability to apply them in diverse media formats
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in developing compelling visual content
- Passion for supporting wellness and empowerment in BIPOC communities through creative expression

The primary goal of Inner City Bliss (ICB) is to create holistic wellness and empowerment within BIPOC communities in Oakland. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals and families can overcome systemic barriers, heal from generational trauma, and build resilience. By offering innovative programs in mindfulness, physical activity, nature outings, and community gardening, we aim to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our members.
