The Program Development Assistant will play a pivotal role in the creation and enhancement of the Inner City Bliss Meditation Collective's initiatives. Working closely with the Executive Director (ED), this position will focus on developing and designing content for trainings and workshops. This includes collaborating on the development of multimedia resources, handouts, and digital materials that can be utilized for both live and virtual training sessions. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of the principles and practices of mindfulness and meditation, as well as experience in program development and curriculum design.

Our initiatives were specifically designed to increase access to culturally sensitive mental health resources among BIPOC communities with a holistic health approach.

Description

The primary goal of Inner City Bliss (ICB) is to create holistic wellness and empowerment within BIPOC communities in Oakland. We strive to create a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals and families can overcome systemic barriers, heal from generational trauma, and build resilience. By offering innovative programs in mindfulness, physical activity, nature outings, and community gardening, we aim to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our members.
