Baby2Baby is seeking a hard-working, mission-driven, Social Media & Marketing-focused intern to join our fast-paced office starting this Winter/Spring 2025 for 8 weeks for 8-12 hours/week. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented, efficient and self-driven student who is looking to begin their career as part of a high-functioning fundraising team.
Why: This intern will have the opportunity to gain professional development skills and support the Baby2Baby Social Media and Marketing team by performing ongoing social media research, optimizing Baby2Baby's content library, and supporting PR initiatives.
Who: Baby2Baby provides children living in poverty with diapers, clothing, and all the basic necessities that every child deserves. In the last 13 years, Baby2Baby has distributed over 450 million items to children in homeless shelters, domestic violence programs, foster care, hospitals and underserved schools as well as children who have lost everything in the wake of disaster.
What to Expect:
Supports the Marketing and Social teams with daily tasks and special projects.
Researches and identifies new social media strategies and trends.
Assists in organizing and cataloging content library, marketing materials and digital assets.
Assists in brainstorming new marketing campaigns.
Gains exposure to various projects in the social media and marketing space.
What's Required:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in progress.
All interns MUST be eligible to receive academic credit.
Baby2Baby internships are unpaid.
This individual will spend their internship hours in person at Baby2Baby's offices. This is evolving and subject to change.
Marketing and PR experience, a plus.
Friendly, outgoing and personable with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
Strong desire to learn.
Excellent organizational, administrative and time management skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Out-of-the-box thinker.
Self-starter mentality.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience with Adobe creative platforms including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator is not required but is a major plus.
