Our mission is to accelerate the prison-to-prosperity pipeline and address the financial toll incarceration has on families by helping those impacted by incarceration fill financial voids, establish financial histories, and access anti-usury financial services.

Position Overview: We’re seeking a skilled UX Visual Designer to join our team as a volunteer, contributing 5 or more hours per week in December and January. In this role, you will enhance our digital tools and resources through user-friendly, visually appealing design, helping justice-impacted individuals access vital financial services.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive user interfaces and prototypes for finEQUITY’s digital tools.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and visual assets that align with our mission and user needs.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure designs are informed by user research and organizational goals.
• Utilize design tools to develop engaging, functional designs.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in UX design and prototyping.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design user-centric, accessible interfaces.
• Effective communication skills for presenting and explaining design concepts.
