The National AIDS Memorial’s annual Light in the Grove fundraising gala and World AIDS Day National Observance is quickly approaching, and we would love to have your support as a volunteer!
Light in the Grove is a magical outdoor celebration of Love, Community, and Remembrance in the AIDS Memorial Grove, located in the heart of historic Golden Gate Park.
Please join us on November 30th, the eve of our World AIDS Day National Observance, as we bring back this unique and inspiring experience, recognized twice as the Bay Area’s best LGBTQ+ fundraising events, since 2011. This whimsical evening in nature surrounded by friends, live music/DJ, and art.
This is our largest annual fundraising event, with all proceeds directly supporting the mission and programs of the National AIDS Memorial.
Your support of Light in the Grove ensures our mission and programs of the National AIDS Memorial, which include the care of our beloved Grove and the 50,000 panels of the AIDS Quilt.
We will also be hosting the World AIDS Day National Observance on December 1. World AIDS Day presents a time to remember those who came before us; acknowledge national leaders and unsung heroes; raise awareness about the ongoing impact of HIV/AIDS; and acknowledge emerging young leaders in the fight to end it.
