Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you enjoy connecting with people and spreading the word about meaningful events? Join the Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) as a volunteer to help promote our annual fundraiser, "Together We Thrive"!

About the Event

"Together We Thrive" is a networking fundraiser supporting ACCIS’s mission to empower immigrants and refugees to become productive members of the community while preserving their cultural identity. This event will bring together community leaders, supporters, and changemakers on Sunday, December 15, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Gibbons Community Center, 4701 Gibbons Dr., Carmichael, CA 95608.

Your Role

As an Outreach Volunteer, you will:

  • Distribute flyers at local businesses, community centers, libraries, and other high-traffic locations.
  • Engage with community members to share information about the event and encourage attendance.
  • Represent ACCIS and its mission with enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Help build excitement about the event within the Sacramento area.

OUR MISSION Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) is a non-profit organization that provides transitional assistance to newly arriving immigrants and refugees to Sacramento through Referral Services, Women and Youth Empowerment Programs, and Cultural Integration Activities.

Description

The Arab Community Center for Integration Services (ACCIS) empowers immigrants and refugees in Sacramento to become productive members of the community while preserving their cultural identity. Since 2014, ACCIS has been a vital resource in Sacramento, offering programs that promote self-sufficiency, education, and cultural connection. Our initiatives include business training, youth workshops, community events, and referral services, fostering integration and celebrating diversity.
