Strike up some fun- join Reach for Resources' Bowl-A-Thon! This exciting event brings adults with developmental disabilities together for a day of bowling, socializing, and fun-and we need YOU to make it happen!
Objective : Reach for Resources is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help people of all abilities in the Minneapolis metro area to live a full life. We do this by providing individualized services that maximize independence, promote community involvement, and improve physical and mental well-being. By assisting the organization, you receive a chance to give back to your community and gain great experience .
About our Bowl-A-Thon: Ou r Bowl-A-Thon occurs on March 29th from 1-4pm . This is a great time for adults with developmental disabilities to get together to bowl and socialize. We are looking for volunteers to help with check-in, be lane assistants during the two games, set up and serve lunch, take down and clean up, and be floaters by helping out where help is needed.
Responsibilities/Duties :
Set-up and clean-up
Assist participants at the bowling lanes
Assist in serving pizza to participants
Cheer on participants and p romote a fun atmosphere!

Adaptive Recreation & Inclusion: we offer a variety of recreation programs that are specifically adapted to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities and are designed to promote physical health, build social skills, and enhance community integration.
Community Living Supports: helps adults with disabilities achieve the highest level of self-reliance possible, achieve goals, and integrate into their communities.
Mental Health Services: our licensed, experienced mental health professionals have been duly trained to address both disability issues and mental health services.
Our Waiver Case Management team provides personalized supports to individuals looking to coordinate their services through waiver funding.
