Culturequip, a startup non-profit African culture immersion center, is seeking passionate individuals to join our mission of promoting African heritage, identity, and unity. Be part of a transformative journey to create a vibrant space for education, connection, and healing.
Language and Literacy MentorRole: Teach African languages and promote literacy, helping participants connect deeply with linguistic heritage.
Responsibilities:
- Provide language lessons (e.g., indigenous or regional dialects) or literacy support to participants.
- Develop or use existing teaching materials to foster an engaging learning environment.
- Offer one-on-one or group sessions to improve conversational and written skills.
- Track participants’ progress and provide encouragement.
Note: These positions are currently unpaid volunteer roles, perfect for individuals passionate about African heritage and community building.
