What You'll DoAs an HR Committee Member, you'll support Reach for Resources by ensuring our HR policies and strategies:
- Foster a positive workplace culture.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Position Reach for Resources as a destination employer.
- Policy Guidance: Review and recommend updates to our HR policies to ensure legal compliance, equity, and alignment with our values.
- Employee Satisfaction: Help enhance employee benefits, professional development, and workplace flexibility.
- Engagement & Development: Advocate for initiatives like recognition programs, mentorship opportunities, and leadership development.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure HR initiatives support our strategic goals and mission.
- Innovative Ideas: Research trends and suggest creative ways to attract and retain top talent.
- A passion for mission-driven work.
- Experience in HR, employee relations, or nonprofit management (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Quarterly Meetings: 1-2 hours per meeting.
- Additional Prep Work: 2-3 hours per quarter.
- Initial term: 1 year, renewable based on performance and interest.
- Shape HR policies and practices that directly impact employees and support Reach's mission.
- Collaborate with diverse professionals and grow your network.
- Contribute to a thriving, mission-driven workplace culture.

Adaptive Recreation & Inclusion: we offer a variety of recreation programs that are specifically adapted to meet the needs of people with developmental disabilities and are designed to promote physical health, build social skills, and enhance community integration.
Community Living Supports: helps adults with disabilities achieve the highest level of self-reliance possible, achieve goals, and integrate into their communities.
Mental Health Services: our licensed, experienced mental health professionals have been duly trained to address both disability issues and mental health services.
Our Waiver Case Management team provides personalized supports to individuals looking to coordinate their services through waiver funding.
