Are you looking for weekend volunteer opportunities?
Stepping Stones has daytime and evening volunteer shifts throughout the school-year available in our weekend recreation programs for individuals with disabilities and registration for the Fall 2023 - Spring 2024 season is now open!
Volunteers age 13 or above who meet service requirements are invited to apply to visit our Saturday Club (Indian Hill) and Weekend Respite (Batavia) programs.
Our staff team greatly appreciate the help of volunteers and the friendly faces bring joy to our program community! While volunteering, you’ll be matched to a group of participants and join them while following the activity schedule. Engage participants in art, nature, sensory and other seasonal activities while supporting an encouraging environment that celebrates all abilities.
Those on our volunteer team are able to:
- Earn service hours while enjoying a rewarding experience
- Support participants in creative and team-building activities
- Develop important life skills like adaptability
To protect our program community, all volunteers must have the ability to display appropriate behavior at all times and respect everyone’s boundaries and level of ability.

Description
Stepping Stones provides recreational and educational services for children and adults with disabilities in the Greater Cincinnati area.
We have four program locations, including sites in Batavia, Indian Hill, Monfort Heights and Norwood.
Programs Include:
Adult Weekday Programs; Autism Alternative Education (Step-Up); Weekend Respites; Summer Weeklong Staycations; Summer Day Camp; and Saturday Kids and Young Adult Clubs.
