The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application,
designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.
Position Overview:
The Human Anatomy and Physiology Teaching Assistant supports faculty in teaching undergraduate anatomy and physiology courses, conducting laboratory sessions, and assisting students with course material.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and supervise Human Anatomy and Physiology laboratory
- sessions
- Assist faculty in teaching lectures and associated lab classes
- Prepare equipment and materials for specific labs
- Grade assignments, lab reports, and exams
- Hold regular office hours to assist students
- Maintain laboratory safety and cleanliness
- Assist in preparing course materials and lab exercises
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Biology, Anatomy, Physiology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
-Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and anatomical models
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
