Volunteer in Plantation

  • Live at the Heart of the Plantation: Your home will be located in the middle of a thriving plantation, offering an immersive experience surrounded by nature and agriculture. A short walk from the village, your accommodation provides a peaceful retreat, shared with three loyal dogs who will keep you company and assist in guarding the plantation.

  • Engage Directly with Local Farmers and Families: Work closely with Spanish-speaking community members who bring generations of wisdom to their agricultural practices. Build meaningful relationships as you learn their techniques for planting, irrigation, and sustainable farming.

  • Support Local Efforts in Water Management: Collaborate on vital projects to distribute water effectively across the plantation and the village. Learn about innovative methods of water conservation and irrigation, essential in this arid yet resourceful region.

  • Participate in Planting and Harvesting: Join local farmers in the fields, where you'll gain hands-on experience with planting, nurturing, and harvesting crops. This is a unique opportunity to understand the rhythm of life tied to the land and to contribute to the community’s food security.

  • Work Alongside Local Leaders in Nutrition and Development: Partner with inspiring community leaders who run food programs aimed at improving health and nutrition. Assist with meal planning and the distribution of locally grown produce, directly impacting the wellbeing of the community.

  • Experience the Challenges and Resilience of Rural Life: Living amidst the plantation and working closely with the village will immerse you in the daily challenges and triumphs of rural life in Peru. Witness and contribute to the resourceful solutions that keep this resilient community thriving.
