Are you passionate about helping the planet while having fun?
Volunteer with Repurpose Rising at *Partial Arts*, our soon-to-open creative reuse center!
We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to measure fabric, sort beads, detangle yarn, organize art supplies, and assist with processing donations-all while making a positive impact on our planet by reducing waste.
At Repurpose Rising, our mission is simple but powerful: we divert usable materials from landfills and turn them into opportunities for creativity and community engagement. By offering affordable art supplies, we inspire the community to creatively reuse what we already have and demonstrate how sustainability can become part of everyday life.
We’re proud to be an all-inclusive organization that values diversity, equity, and respect. We expect our volunteers to embrace these values, creating a welcoming environment for everyone in our community. Together, we celebrate the unique perspectives and talents that make our mission stronger and our efforts impactful.
Help us protect Mother Earth and make art accessible to everyone. As we prepare to open our doors, you can be part of a movement that values creativity, sustainability, and community connection. Volunteers like you will help us host workshops, events, and spread awareness about sustainability while fostering creativity and a sense of belonging.
Join us today to rethink waste, inspire creativity, and give back to Mother Earth!

Mission Statement
At Repurpose Rising, our mission is both simple and profound: to divert usable materials from landfills and transform them into opportunities for creativity and community engagement. We aim to establish a nonprofit creative reuse center that will collect donated arts and craft supplies, making them accessible to the public through our thrift store, Partial Arts.. We aspire to create a vibrant hub where artists, crafters, educators, and environmental enthusiasts can come together to share resources, ideas, and inspiration. By offering affordable materials, workshops, and educational programs, we hope to ignite a similar passion for creative reuse in our community and highlight the importance of a circular economy. Our goal is to cultivate a community that sees the potential in every piece of "trash" and understands that with a bit of creativity, anything can be turned into treasure.
Description
Our journey is filled with both opportunities and challenges. We see immense potential in fostering a community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about sustainability and creativity. By offering workshops and classes, we can educate people about the importance of a circular economy and inspire them to think differently about waste. We believe that by providing affordable materials, we can make art and creativity accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation.
Besides offering classes and workshops on creative reuse and upcycling we have two initiatives we would like to implement, with many more to come!
1. Free Supplies for Public School Teachers
We understand the significant financial challenges that many public school teachers face, often having to spend their own hard-earned money to ensure their students have the necessary supplies. To address this issue, we want to launch a dedicated program aimed at providing free art and craft supplies to public school teachers.
2. Craft Kits for Dwelling-Bound Disabled Artists
We recognize that many disabled artists face challenges in accessing supplies and engaging in creative activities. This program would provide free craft kits tailored to the needs of dwelling-bound disabled artists, ensuring they have the materials they need to continue their creative pursuits.
