GoodBot
GoodBot is an interdisciplinary community of socially-minded professionals working in law, technology, design, social sciences, and policy. Our purpose is to support the development of trusted, accountable, and socially sustainable technology ecosystems by strengthening awareness, research, policy, and practice.
We offer professional services to help technology companies develop and embed measurable social impact strategies into their products and business models and help them navigate a complex and rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.
We also develop original research on emerging innovation, technology risks and harms, and approaches needed to effectively govern technology and build toward healthy and inclusive digital societies that benefit everyone.
Position Overview
The Fundraiser/Writer will combine strategic fundraising skills with exceptional writing abilities to generate resources that support GoodBot’s mission. This role involves creating content, developing persuasive proposals, and fostering relationships through impactful communication.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute fundraising decks
Support the development of fundraising campaigns
Collaborate with the team to set and achieve fundraising targets
Research and identify grant opportunities aligned with GoodBot’s mission
Help prepare grant applications and supporting documents for potential funders
Write impactful case studies, newsletters, and social media content
Track and report on fundraising activities and outcomes, providing insights for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, business, public relations, fundraising or a related field.
Experience in nonprofit fundraising and grant writing.
Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Passion for GoodBot’s mission and social impact.
