Duties may include reading to patients, playing games, listening to music, or simply providing a comforting presence. Training will be provided to ensure that all volunteers are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide quality care. You’ll receive an overview of the history and benefits of hospice care to patients and their loved ones and the roles of various hospice medical staff. Ongoing support is always available. We ask for a willingness to help and a desire to be part of something that positively impacts patients' lives and provides lasting memories for their families and loved ones.
