We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Writing Assistant Volunteer to join our team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping our nonprofit secure funding to support our mission and programs.
Responsibilities:
- Research potential funding opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government entities.
- Write compelling grant proposals that align with funder guidelines and requirements.
- Assist in preparing budgets, supporting documents, and reports for grant applications.
- Track deadlines and ensure timely submission of proposals and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to gather information and develop narratives that effectively communicate the nonprofit’s impact.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in grant writing or fundraising (preferred but not required).
- Passion for supporting our mission and making a difference.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
