Construction Home Repair Program - "A Brush With Kindness" Volunteers
Why?"Help us change the lives of families in our very own community"
Who? Livingston County Habitat for Humanity shines a light on marginalized groups in the community to meet necessary home repair needs which allows...
- Aging seniors to remain in their home safely
- Assist families and individuals who face fiancial hardships and fiscal challenges
- Provides home repair needs for families and individuals who need modifications to their home for mobility purposes (ie: ramps, grab bars, etc.)
- Helps prevent homlessness due to unlivable housing environments
VOLUNTEER SKILLS:
Trade skills, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, masonary experience welcome but not required. On-the-job training, instruction given for each project.
