Mission Statement

To provide education, resources, services, and support for inclusive tourism.

Description

Freddi T. Lane Empowerment Alliance, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization exempt from federal income tax under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3). The organization provides education, resources, services, and support for inclusive tourism. This organization's programs aim to empower adults through personal and professional growth, with a focus on equity, inclusion, travel, and community.

TRAVELBILITY includes consumer reports from independent assessment outcomes, conducted to support individuals with special needs and their travel companions. The assessments give a detailed review of accessibility, emergency preparedness, and quality in lodging, dining, and activities. By doing so, we promote inclusive tourism for all, ensuring that people of all abilities can confidently navigate and enjoy various tourism experiences.

The goal is to evaluate the accessibility, quality, and the level of emergency preparedness at the sites being assessed. This will assist adult tourists with special needs and can easily access the world, without barriers, in environments where service workers are trained to handle life emergencies. This includes measuring an establishment’s compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III Regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standards.
