Job Description:
As a Pulmonology Teacher Assistant, you will support instructors in delivering engaging and
interactive lessons on the respiratory system. You will assist in creating a dynamic virtual learning
environment, guide students through age-appropriate content, and foster a deeper understanding of pulmonology and its critical role in human health.


Responsibilities:
* Assist instructors in delivering lessons and virtual labs related to pulmonology topics such as lung anatomy, respiratory function, and common respiratory diseases.
* Guide discussions and activities for students aged 8-17, ensuring their understanding and
participation.
* Track attendance, monitor student progress, and provide feedback to the lead instructor.
* Assist with technical and logistical aspects, including setting up virtual tools,
presentations, and interactive simulations.
* Collaborate with instructors to adapt lesson materials for varying age groups and
comprehension levels.
* Promote an engaging, inclusive, and inspiring virtual classroom environment.


Qualifications:
* Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Pulmonology, Biomedical Sciences, Nursing, or a
related medical field.
* Strong knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology, and basic pulmonology concepts.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex medical information in
an age-appropriate manner.
* Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom).
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students and foster a positive learning
experience.
* Prior experience in online teaching or tutoring is an asset.


Requirements:
* Recent Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance Check.
* Reliable internet connection and access to a computer with video conferencing capabilities.
* Passion for education in medical sciences and mentoring students.
