Position Overview

The Neuroscience Teaching Assistant supports faculty in teaching introductory neuroscience courses, assisting with labs, discussions, and student support.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Support: Lead online discussion sessions, hold office hours, and assist with course materials on neuroscience topics.
Grading: Grade assignments and exams related to neuroscience content.
Lab Assistance: Assist with virtual labs and neurobiology demonstrations.
Student Support: Answer questions and provide clarifications on complex neuroscience topics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, Biology, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
Strong understanding of neurobiology, brain structure and function, and neurophysiology.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
