Position Overview

The Endocrinology Teaching Assistant supports faculty in teaching endocrine system biology, hormone regulation, and related physiology, assisting students in understanding complex physiological processes.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching Support: Assist in teaching endocrine physiology through discussion sessions, office hours, and reviewing materials.
Grading: Grade assignments, quizzes, and exams, and maintain student progress records.
Lab Support: Assist with virtual labs and demonstrations related to endocrine processes.
Student Support: Help students understand complex endocrinological concepts, offering explanations and answering questions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Endocrinology, Biology, or a related field; graduate students preferred.
Strong understanding of hormone systems and endocrine functions.
Ability to explain complex biological concepts clearly.
Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
