Rebel Recovery Florida is a low barrier recovery community organization serving Palm Beach County. We provide recovery support services, education, and advocacy to people impacted by drug use, affected by homelessness, and those living with or at risk of infectious diseases. Through radical love and acceptance, we serve our community's most vulnerable.

As an outreach and event volunteer, you have the opportunity to support Rebel's mission and your community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in event planning and execution

• Assist in community outreach activities and events

• Support community initiatives such as food and hygiene programs, holiday toy drive, and community cleanups

• Assist in fundraising and event sponsorship development

• Assist Volunteer and Event Coordinator as needed

Preferred Skills and Requirements:

• Must be comfortable working with diverse and vulnerable populations

• Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor settings

• Event planning, fundraising, and/or community outreach experience is a plus!

• Comfortable meeting with community partners and potential funders

• Have a passion for harm reduction and meeting people where they are in their journey

• All volunteers must sign a liability waiver and volunteer agreement

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Must have own transportation
