Get transported into the unique world of books!
We are building community through reading and looking for individuals who are passionate about sharing ideas and discussing books. This volunteer position will be responsible for organizing and managing a themed book club that meets at the library, communicating with library staff and book club members, and facilitating discussions.
The Book Club Lead Volunteer will be responsible for managing a monthly book club at the library. This will include:
- Communicating with library staff and book club members about titles, meetings, etc.
- Help pick titles/themes for book discussions.
- Help to maintain a friendly and inclusive atmosphere.
- Facilitate book club meetings and participate in book discussions.
- Assist with setup and cleanup.
