Rebuilding Together North Texas is seeking an enthusiastic and organized volunteer to serve as an Event Coordinator for our fundraising events. This vital role helps support our mission of repairing homes, revitalizing communities, and rebuilding lives.
Key Responsibilities
* Event Planning & Coordination:
* Work closely with the board, clients, donors, and venue partners to plan and execute creative and impactful fundraising events.
* Develop and manage event timelines, ensuring all logistical details are in place.
* Communication & Reporting:
* Provide monthly event updates to the board and key stakeholders.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries.
* Budget Management:
* Plan and execute events within the allocated budget while maintaining creativity and quality.
* Seek opportunities for cost savings without compromising the event’s impact.
* Collaboration:
* Coordinate efforts with other Event Coordinators and volunteers to ensure a cohesive approach to event planning.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners.
* Event Support:
* Attend events to oversee logistics, troubleshoot issues, and ensure success.
* Assist with setup, breakdown, and other on-site event needs.
Time Commitment
* 5 hours per week on regular weeks.
* 10-15 hours per week during the month leading up to an event.
Qualifications
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Creativity and resourcefulness in event planning.
* Experience in event coordination, nonprofit work, or fundraising is a plus but not required.

Rebuilding Together North Texas is a local nonprofit performing critical home repairs and ADA modifications for low-income homeowners and their families in Denton, Dallas, Collin, Rockwall, and Tarrant counties. We have a strong focus on seniors, veterans and their surviving spouses, families with children, and people with disabilities. These home repairs are often the gateway to improved neighborhood and community cohesion, as our vision is safe homes and communities for everyone.
