Meals on Wheels is launching a pet pilot program, PAWS, and are looking for volunteers to get this going! PAWS, Providing Animals Wellness and Support, is an new iniative we are beginning to offer to clients in on Meals on Wheels program with animals who can not get their animals to a local vet. We are offering a pet uber, if you will, where our volunteer will pick up their furry friend, transport them to the local vet to receive their annual vaccines and wellness check up and then return the pet to the client. If you have a love for animals, then this opportunity would be great for you!
