Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Marketing Volunteer to join our team as a volunteer. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies, including social media management, content creation, email marketing, and SEO. This role is crucial for enhancing CSA's online presence, engaging our community, and promoting our initiatives to a broader audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to increase awareness, engagement, and support for CSA’s mission.Social Media Management:
Manage and curate content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn), including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics to assess performance.Content Creation:
Create compelling and informative digital content (blog posts, graphics, videos) that aligns with CSA’s mission and resonates with our audience.Email Marketing:
Design and execute email marketing campaigns to keep supporters informed about CSA’s initiatives, events, and fundraising efforts, ensuring high open and click-through rates.Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Optimize website content and digital marketing materials to improve visibility and ranking on search engines, driving organic traffic to the CSA website.Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.Collaborative Campaigns:
Work closely with the fundraising and communications teams to align digital marketing efforts with organizational goals and support upcoming campaigns and events.Trend Monitoring:
Stay informed about digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices to enhance CSA’s digital presence and engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in digital marketing setting.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, SEO, email marketing, and content marketing.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a focus on storytelling.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite) and graphic design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights from performance metrics.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Passion for nonprofit work and a commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
