Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Database Administrator Volunteer to help manage and maintain CSA’s nonprofit CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. The CRM Database Administrator will play a vital role in ensuring that our donor, volunteer, and program participant data is well-organized, secure, and easily accessible. This position will help optimize CSA’s CRM system to support fundraising, donor engagement, and program management efforts, ensuring that CSA’s outreach and communication strategies are data-driven and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
CRM Management:
Oversee the daily operations of CSA’s nonprofit CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar platform), ensuring data is entered, updated, and managed correctly.Data Integrity & Cleanup:
Regularly review and clean the CRM database to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Identify and correct any inconsistencies or duplicates within the system.Data Entry & Updates:
Ensure that all donor, volunteer, and program participant data is consistently entered and updated in the CRM system. This includes tracking donations, event participation, volunteer hours, and program interactions.Report Generation:
Create customized reports and dashboards to track donor engagement, fundraising progress, volunteer involvement, and program metrics. Work with other team members to generate data-driven insights to inform decision-making.CRM Optimization:
Assess and implement improvements to CRM workflows, automations, and processes to streamline operations and enhance data accessibility. Help with the setup of new CRM features, fields, or functionalities as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience using nonprofit CRM systems.
Proficiency with CRM data management tasks, including data entry, reporting, and workflow automation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage data integrity.
Familiarity with CRM security best practices and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with non-technical staff and volunteers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve CRM-related issues.
Previous experience in database administration or CRM management for a nonprofit is preferred but not required.
Location: Remote
Role Type: Volunteer (Part-time)
Time Commitment: Approximately 8 hours per week, flexible schedule.
