ORGANIZATION: Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership

  • 2 people are interested

Small Business Saturday is November 25, and the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership is thrilled to support small businesses during one of their busiest times of the year!

This nationwide event celebrates small businesses-the backbone of our communities. We hope you will join us by sharing your everyday skills, providing essential knowledge and resources as business owners navigate this crucial season.

Volunteer Opportunities
From one-time opportunities to ongoing support, IFEL has various skills-based volunteer opportunities specific to your skill set and expertise.

(1) Hands-on-Help Sessions: Volunteers work one-on-one with a small business owner, focusing on a specific aspect of their business. These are "one and done" two-hour sessions.

(2) Success Circles: Ongoing one-on-one support focused on a specific topic, which can be just about anything. Volunteers and business owners decide on a time that works for both of them, making it flexible for your schedule. The commitment is typically 2-3 meetings, ranging from one to two hours.

Description

The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL), founded in 2002, is an independent, not-for-profit organization that supports economic development through entrepreneurship. We are experts in creating and implementing small business programming in support of larger economic development objectives. Our services and programs help ambitious "every day" entrepreneurs gain access to the knowledge, networks, and capital necessary to succeed in business. We believe that our efforts to support small businesses can stimulate an entrepreneurial spirit within the community-at-large and empower residents to realize their collective potential.
