Share Your Music Talents as a Musical Companionship Volunteer!
Dignity & Hope Hospice is looking for individuals who truly want to make a difference in the lives of others by sharing their love for music. If this sounds like you, we invite you to become an intregal member of our care team.
Often, the word hospice creates a negative perception or sad thoughts, but not at Dignity and Hope. We focus on living! We focus on the quality of life for our clients while providing comfort, if needed. So, don't let the thought of being a hospice volunteer scare you away.
We are currently seeking volunteers to provide musical companionship visits to our patients. Music companions use music to enhance the quality of our patients’ lives. You may use your talents to sing or play instruments during visits, play a patient’s favorite recorded music, or share live videos of the patient’s favorite musician(s). Use your passion of music to stir memories and emotion, or even bring calmness to their current environment.
Our volunteer schedules are flexible and we'll provide any training you might need to be successful! Please contact us to learn more about this rewarding opportunity!
