Nerdy Girl Success - High School Club

Texas City HS Club | Session Presentation Club Meeting - Stress Management

The NGS HS Club helps girls from grads 9th - 12th, develop the skills necessary for success in their life, education and careers. These skills include leadership, public speaking, advocacy, business acumen and learning how to collaborate with one another, rather than competing.

In this "Stress Management" session, participants will explore common sources and symptoms of stress, while learning techniques to manage it effectively. Through group discussion, they’ll identify personal stressors and brainstorm ways to cope. Practical exercises like deep breathing and guided mindfulness meditation will provide firsthand experience with calming techniques. The session concludes with a review, empowering participants to incorporate these tools into daily life.
