Miracle League of San Diego is a non-profit that provides individuals with special needs the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league. We aim to pair every athlete with a Buddy who helps them to compete to the best of their ability. No baseball or special needs experience is needed. Many athletes just need a hand to hold while they run around the bases and maybe play catch while on defense. Games are played on a rubberized field, allowing athletes of all mobility levels to compete. Games are only about an hour long, (2 full innings), on Saturdays only, for a 10 week season. We welcome full time and part time Buddy commitments as well. We provide paperwork for 20 hours of community service for those who need it.

Mission Statement
The Miracle League of San Diego provides children and adults with special needs the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league. Every player is matched with a buddy based on his or her unique needs. Our goal is that everyone walks away saying "I had a great day!".
Description
The Miracle League of San Diego has been providing special needs players, and their families, a safe place to play baseball and find a community since 2007. Our goal is to enrich the lives of those in the special needs community through the game of baseball. Since it's foundation, we have been able to expand our program into two locations in San Diego County; Del Mar and Chula Vista. Our volunteers are what make the Miracle League of San Diego possible.
