Job Description:
As a Volunteer Content Moderator for STEM Canada, you will
ensure the quality and integrity of our online content across various platforms.
Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe, informative, and engaging digital
environment that reflects our mission to promote STEM literacy. The ideal
candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills,
and a passion for upholding community standards.
Position: Content Moderator
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: Flexible Hours
Key Responsibilities:
Review, moderate, and manage user-generated content on social media,
forums, and other platforms.
Ensure adherence to community guidelines and policies, addressing
inappropriate content promptly.
Collaborate with the content team to develop best practices for content
moderation.
Provide feedback on content trends, user interactions, and community
engagement.
Support the creation of engaging and educational content that aligns with
STEM Canada’s mission.
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a positive
online community.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with content moderation tools and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A passion for STEM education and community building.
