Job Description:

As the Registration and Attendee Relations Coordinator for STEM Canada, you will manage attendee registration and provide exceptional support to participants for all of our virtual and in-person events. Your role is essential to ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for attendees, helping to foster engagement with STEM Canada’s educational programs. This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to enhancing participant satisfaction.

Position: Registration and Attendee Relations Coordinator

Location: Remote

Time commitment: Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the registration process for STEM Canada’s events, including virtual webinars, workshops, and conferences.
  • Manage attendee databases, ensuring accuracy and organization of registration information.
  • Communicate with attendees pre- and post-event, providing information, support, and follow-up as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from registrants, offering timely and clear assistance with event details, technical issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with the Event Coordinator and Marketing team to ensure smooth registration and attendee engagement workflows.
  • Create and distribute event materials, reminders, and follow-up surveys to enhance the attendee experience.
  • Gather attendee feedback and compile reports on registration trends and participant satisfaction.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking attendee communications and responses for easy access by team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Customer Relations, Event Management, or a related field
  • 1+ year of experience in event registration, customer service, or attendee relations
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in using registration and event management software (e.g., Eventbrite, Zoom, or similar platforms)
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a remote environment
  • Passion for STEM education and commitment to enhancing the participant experience
  • Prior experience in non-profit or educational organizations (preferred).
