Smedley Elementary is a title 1 school serving approximately 800 students in kindergarten through sixth grade in the Frankford community of North Philadelphia. The goal of this community service event is to bring members of the school community, neighborhood and otherstake holders together for a day of collaboration,unity and civic engagement. This project will utilize volunteers and school staff to paint a cohesive set of murals in and around the school.
