The STEM program is open to all students from preschool to high school with the mission to deliver top-notch STEM literacy and application, designed to teach students in the STEM fields, yielding globally competitive results.

Position: Presentation Creator Location: Remote Time commitment: Flexible Hours Description: As the Presentation Creator for STEM Canada, you will develop visually engaging, informative, and creative presentations that communicate the impact and mission of our STEM-based educational programs. This role is perfect for a visually oriented, detail-focused individual with a passion for educational content creation. Your work will support the organization’s outreach, training, and promotional efforts, helping to drive home the importance of STEM literacy and education across diverse audiences. Key Responsibilities: Design and create high-quality presentations for STEM Canada’s various events, webinars, workshops, and marketing initiatives. Work closely with the Marketing and Promotion team to align presentation content with organizational goals and branding. Use visual storytelling to make complex STEM topics accessible and engaging for students, parents, educators, and partners. Collaborate with content creators and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of information. Edit and enhance existing presentations as needed, incorporating new data or updated design elements. Stay updated on the latest design trends and tools to continually improve the visual impact of presentations. Maintain and organize a library of presentation templates and graphics for streamlined access by team members. Incorporate feedback from internal teams to refine and optimize presentations for maximum engagement. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Education, or a related field 1+ year of experience in presentation design or visual content creation Proficiency in design tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Canva, or similar platforms Strong visual storytelling and design skills, with a portfolio of past presentation work Attention to detail and ability to work independently and meet deadlines Knowledge of STEM topics or a passion for education and STEM (preferred) Experience in non-profit or educational organizations (preferred) Benefits: Enjoy flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
