Built in 1923, the Dale Community Center has welcomed countless visitors over the years-and the wear and tear is starting to show. While we managed to paint the wood floors back in 2014, it’s now time for a full restoration. The entry hall and classroom floors need to be repaired, stripped, and revarnished to preserve their character and functionality.
We’re seeking professionals skilled in the rehabilitation of historic wooden floors, equipped with the necessary tools like drum sanders and refinishing materials, to bring these beautiful floors back to life.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Dale Community Center is to provide inclusive, charitable, and educational programs that enhance the well-being of our community. Description
The Dale Community Center, established in 1984 as a 501(c)(4) social welfare organization, has grown into a vibrant hub for connection and support in the area. Originally created to host small gatherings, reunions, fire meetings, and youth activities, it now serves as a cornerstone for civic engagement and community enrichment. Staffed entirely by volunteers and supported by over 75 members annually, the center offers programs like youth basketball for 30+ children, weekly fitness classes, and signature events such as the Independence Day celebration and Thanksgiving meal, which welcomed over 250 attendees last year.
Dedicated to fostering community ties, the center collaborates with local organizations and charities, hosting events like the Dale Volunteer Fire Department’s barbecue fundraiser and providing discounted rentals for nonprofits. These efforts demonstrate a commitment to strengthening the missions of local groups while preserving Dale’s heritage.
Guided by a philosophy of accessibility and partnership, the Dale Community Center prioritizes affordable space for civic groups, nonprofits, and community needs while maintaining sustainability through private rentals. From fundraisers and civic meetings to serving as a polling place, the center continues to meet the immediate needs of the community while supporting its long-term growth and vitality.
