Welcome to Amedisys Hospice Volunteer Remote/Virtual Program!
You have started the first step to becoming a hospice virtual volunteer. We are currently seeking volunteers for our multiple remote opportunities. Our Remote Hospice Volunteer program is a way to connect with hospice patients and their families virtually. We have several remote and virtual positions available.

- Pen Pal Admin Callers
- Bereavement Callers
- Virtual Companion
Volunteer Training provided upon completion of application and background screening.

Description
Amedisys Hospice Bartlett services terminally ill patients with 6 months to one year of life expectancy. We service all of Shelby County. We have an amazing volunteer program. Our main focus is delighting patients and providing the best volunteers to service our patients and their families. We are looking for direct care volunteers to sit with patients, read, run errands, and celebrate birthdays. We are also looking for indirect/ remote volunteers to make weekend patient calls, make blankets and scarfs, prepare meals and deliver them. If you have a love and passion for helping others, you are the perfect candidate!
