Recruiting Organization: DOROT

DOROT's mission is to address social isolation among older adults. We are currently looking for Tech Volunteers. There are opportunities to help remotely and in person in Manhattan and onsite at DOROT, as well as via phone or videochat. Tech volunteers help DOROT older adults learn how to use devices including smartphones, tablets and laptops and basic applications. The minimum time commitment is 1 hour per week for 3 months and DOROT provides all training needed. Our greatest need is for in-person Tech Coaches so we can accommodate the long list of older adults who are waiting to be matched. We are also looking for facilitators that have a stronger background in Tech who can lead group sessions on Zoom on a particular area of focus.
