ORGANIZATION: Hands On Orlando
Please visit the new page to apply.
Hands On Orlando (HOO) is a board operated non profit that leads group volunteer projects and also hosts community outreach events at our 15 acre lakefront property in Orlando, FL.
HOO is in need of individuals to assist board members with these impactful outdoor experiences on weekdays and weekends.
A typical project/event lasts 2-4 hours and would require the Assistant to work alongside a board member for the set up and execution. Typical projects/events include:
- Earth Day celebration to distribute tree saplings
- Halloween party with treats, prizes, food and music for surrounding communities
- Corporate team building activities to include clearing/mulching trails, adding signage identifying native plant species throughout property, and removing debris from stream that runs through property into Lake Mann.
Please join our team and experience the excitement and internal reward of creating a gathering place for a strong, connected, and hopeful community.
