Mission Statement
At Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Inc, our mission is to offer young expectant mothers aged 13-26 a stress-free start by providing essential baby items, life skills, and support. We aim to demonstrate a supportive community where every mother feels empowered, cherished, and equipped for the beautiful chapter of motherhood.
Description
Healing Hearts with Helping Hands Inc. currently offers the Beginning Blessing Box program, which provides baby essentials to young mothers in need who meet specific criteria. This program ensures that these mothers have access to crucial items such as diapers, clothing, and other necessities, alleviating some of the financial burdens and stress associated with early motherhood giving them a stress free start. We in the phases of launching two new program initiatives: the Showers of Love program and the New Beginning Journey into Motherhood program. The Showers of Love program will organize celebratory events that provide young mothers with essential baby items and a supportive community. These events are designed to make young mothers feel valued and prepared for their motherhood journey. The New Beginning Journey into Motherhood program will offer comprehensive support through mentoring, educational workshops, and resource availability. This program aims to equip young mothers with the knowledge, skills, and emotional support they need to confidently navigate pregnancy and early motherhood. Our intended beneficiaries are young expectant mothers in need of support and resources. The expected results include reduced financial burden, improved maternal and infant health outcomes, reduced risk of post partum depression, increased confidence and self-reliance among young mothers, and the creation of a supportive community network that fosters long-term success and well-being for both mothers and their children.
