Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled volunteer to serve as our Google Workspace and Digital Outreach Specialist. In this role, you’ll manage our Google Workspace for Nonprofits, streamline communication, enhance productivity tools, and assist in optimizing our Google Ads campaigns. You’ll work closely with our team to create a cohesive digital environment that supports our mission and enhances our organizational reach.
Key Responsibilities:
Google Workspace Administration: Configure and manage Google Workspace applications including Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Forms, and other essential tools to optimize team productivity and collaboration.
Google Ads Management: Develop, monitor, and optimize Google Ads campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and outreach for our programs and initiatives.
Tech Support and Training: Provide training and ongoing support for team members, ensuring they are comfortable using Google tools and understand best practices for digital collaboration.
Process Improvements: Identify opportunities to streamline operations using digital tools and propose solutions that improve efficiency and productivity.
Data Management: Organize and manage documents, files, and data within Google Drive and other Workspace tools, ensuring easy access and secure storage of important information.
Analytics and Reporting: Track key metrics, analyze data, and create reports to provide insights on the effectiveness of Google Ads and other digital outreach efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace for Nonprofits (or equivalent experience with Google Workspace)
- Experience with Google Ads (nonprofit ad grants experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to train and support team members on technology use
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for nonprofit work and the mission of HopeRISE Alabama
Commitment:
Minimum of 5 hours per week. Flexible schedule with the possibility to work remotely.
