Help our community stay safe and healthy by keeping our Wee Play Toys clean and germ free. We are looking for one or two committed volunteers to come in on a weekly basis and wipe down our toys for an hour a week for a minimum of six months.
If you need community service hours for school or if you just want to help the library this is a great opportunity that can be done around your schedule and during library open hours.
Other activities may include cleaning books, erasing pencil marks, cleaning computers, and dusting bookshelves.
Adults and teens ages 15 and older are welcome to apply for this position. Adults ages 18 and older will be fingerprinted at no cost to them.

Description
Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
