Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Northside Food Pantry Advisors

  • Spots available: 8

For Saturday morning, these are the expectations of an Ambassador; 1. Ideally volunteer once every 1-2 months. 2. This is a Saturday morning opportunity and you would be the lead for produce distribution from 8:45 am until we have given out all produce, usually around 10:15am. 3. Picking up the bag, broom, brown paper bags, etc. from the lock box 4. Arriving 10-15 minutes early to meet up with early birds (8:45am) 5. Providing the welcome to our volunteers and answering any questions about what we do or who we are 6. Running the clipboard and controlling the line speed 7. Returning all unused items to lock box at the end of the day **8. When we are distributing inside, please bring 2 towels from your home 9. Friendly reminder too, we don't necessarily have garbage bags so make a banana bag (close off one end) your impromptu trash bag for less waste and reuse of the plastic.
