Celebrate the beauty of autumn in the Longfellow Creek Forest with Trees for Seattle and Dirt Corps at our November Tree Care Event! Join us in hands-on tree care and education along this section of Longfellow Creek, and contribute to the health and biodiversity of this vital riparian forest. We'll also be discussing the importance of fallen leaves and branches for the forest floor and ecosystem health, and how you can use these important resources in your own yard or garden.
All skill levels are welcome! Please wear clothing that can get dirty, including long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. Make sure to dress for the weather, including layers and rain gear depending on the forecast. We'll be providing the tools, gloves, snacks, and water to keep you hydrated and energized. We hope you'll join us!
