Our "What Not To Do" illustration is a very popular resource on our website. However, the answer key is getting passed around the internet as well, and teachers are always hungry for fresh resources. A volunteer skilled at drawing simple illustrations could easily produce ~10 more similar posters.
The posters would be a valuable resource for teachers to use to teach science safety in their classrooms. Additionally, offering a collection of posters on our website would help increase LSI's position as the go-to source for science safety. Using existing lists on our website of laboratory safety guidelines (https://www.labsafety.org/what-is-the-most-important-lab-safety-rule and https://www.labsafety.org/product/lab-safety-rules), as well as any other resources available to the volunteer, produce an assortment of posters (in PDF format) focused on different aspects of lab safety, with an academic audience in mind. (Each poster could have a different theme, such as biosafety, chemical safety, storeroom safety, disposal, PPE, etc.) They can be simple black-and-white sketches, either hand-drawn and scanned or produced using digital drawing tools.More opportunities with Laboratory Safety Institute
