A Florida Man...wants you to volunteer this spring in Fort Pierce, FL.

Join the Fort Lauderdale Habitat for Humanity’s Collegiate Challenge for a spring break that goes beyond the usual trip. As part of one of Habitat's longest-running youth volunteer programs, you’ll spend a week alongside your friends working with dedicated teams to help build safe, affordable housing in communities across the United States. No experience is necessary-just bring your energy and desire to make a change!

This is a perfect volunteer destination for your group of 5-24 people!

Come make a difference in sunny South Florida & stay right on Ft Lauderdale's famous beach! After spending the mornings building homes, you can enjoy great nightlife, water sports, and mall/grocery within walking distance. ACCOMODATIONS INCLUDED! Our build schedule is 7:45am until noon, which provides afternoons off to soak up the sun & explore. We partner with a State Park to provide 6 air-conditioned sleeping cabins only 300' from the beach. Come help families & find out why we're THE Spring Break destination!

How it works: Gather a group of five or more students (chaperones over 25 are welcome, too) and choose a Habitat location (in this case, Florida). For one week, you will partake in the Habitat mission of building homes and changing lives.

WHO:
Students ages 18+ and college program leaders seeking an impactful volunteer opportunity with Habitat for Humanity! Groups of five or more are welcome, with optional chaperones (25+).

WHAT:
Join Collegiate Challenge, Habitat for Humanity's long-running alternative break program, where students work together on hands-on projects that make a lasting impact in communities across the U.S.

WHEN:
Choose a week that works for you! Collegiate Challenge offers flexible volunteer weeks during school breaks and year-round, so your team can choose dates that fit.

WHERE:
Fort Lauderdale, FL! But if you are interested in other locations just know that we have build sites in diverse communities across the United States. Whether you want to stay close to your school or travel to a new location, many U.S. Habitat affiliates offer this program.

WHY:
Make your break meaningful! Beyond building homes, you’ll be creating hope and a stronger community spirit. It’s an unforgettable, purpose-driven experience that makes a real impact and brings you closer to friends, classmates, and new people alike.
