Womenful Voice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Volunteer Interpreter proficient in Haitian Creole and English to support our mission of empowering women across diverse communities. As a Volunteer Interpreter, you will play a vital role in facilitating clear and effective communication between our Haitian Creole-speaking participants and English-speaking team members, allowing us to create a more inclusive environment for our programs and services. Your responsibilities will include translating verbal and written communications, assisting in live discussions, workshops, and other interactive sessions, and ensuring accurate and culturally sensitive interpretation. This role requires strong language skills, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to fostering an understanding and supportive atmosphere for participants. While prior interpretation experience is preferred, a willingness to learn and grow with us is highly valued.
