The Cumberland Island National Seashore Visitor Center is the primary information point for the park and where visitors come to check in for their ferry reservations.
Our Visitor Center Assistants direct up to 300 visitors a day to check-in, parking, and the ferry dock as well as answer questions about activities to partake in and places to go during a visit. Other projects may involve assisting rangers with changing exhibits, inputting stats, restocking brochures, and organizing files.
There is no housing available so local volunteers or volunteers with their own housing are encouraged to apply.
