Purpose of Position:
The Volunteer Housing Navigator will assist Isuroon clients with finding affordable housing and completing applications for renting and financial assistance.
Requirements of Position:
No specific training or background is necessary.
A background in housing, renting, and applying for government assistance is helpful, but not necessary.
The ideal volunteer will have an interest in housing justice.
Benefits:
The Housing Navigator Volunteer will gain skills and experience in housing justice and government assistance. They will also gain experience working in a Somali and female lead non-profit organization.
